What I do

I am a snowsports thought leader and expert. I’ve been a ski instructor certified by the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) for over 42-years. My roles in PSIA have included Division Board Member, Discipline chairperson, Education Team Member, trainer, and examiner for multiple PSIA divisions. I have 53-seasons of on-hill snowsports experience, including safety, risk management, administration, and operations. I am an active member of the ASTM Committee F27 for Snow and Water Sports, and ANSI B77.1 Safety Standard Committee for Passenger Ropeways. I possess a clear understanding of snowsports science and mechanics through my engineering education and over 40-years of professional practice. I am Licensed Professional Engineer (Civil Engineering) in 10-states with an active residential structural engineering and land development practice.
